Camping Water Heater Uses

Posted by Filed Under Camping Water Heater, Featured with No Comments

Going on a camping trip does not mean that you have to endure cold water and not be able to enjoy the comfort of hot warm baths. Just a few years back, if you go camping, you should be prepared to shower with cold water or even be unable to take a bath until you get home. Fortunately, due to the pressing concerns of many campers who still love to have the luxury of hot water or warm baths in the outdoors, the camping water heater was invented. Nowadays, campers don’t have to force themselves to showering in the cold if they don’t want to. Instead, they can simply prepare their camping water heaters.

Camping water heater can also be used in other things aside from providing you with hot water for a luxurious warm bath. It could also be used for cooking. Most camping foods like instant noodles only require hot water. Just think of the possibilities hot water can bring you when camping and you will have it because of camping water heaters. The best part is that the unit is completely portable and easy to carry, making any outdoor activity a little bit more luxurious.

Because of its portability, it is not limited for camping alone. There are a lot of uses for camping water heaters aside from a handy camping gadget. You can use it to wash your car with hot water on a cold winter day where snow covers your car. You can use it to wash your dishes especially if the plates were used for greasy foods.  A camping water heater can be very handy in almost anywhere and anything that you need hot water for.

i’m new at this trailer camping thing, the problem i’m having is mind boggling. last year i camped at a site with no running water, i used the water reserve tank and every thing worked fine. i winterized the trailer for the winter. this year i have a water hook up. with the bye pass open and the lines closed to the water heater i get cold water to all water faucets. here’s where the problem starts, i close the bye pass open the two lines at the hot water heater tank, the tank fills, i open the faucets to drain the air so i can light the heater. lines drain in the bathroom, but the kitchen sink lets out some air and then nothing no water comes out of the kitchen sink. i drained the tank set the valves back to bye pass and i get water to all faucets again. i repeated all the steps above and had the same results? it makes no sense to anyone i ask. sure would appreciate input.

How can I tell the size of my Hot water heater in my camper?

Posted by Filed Under Camping Water Heater with 7 Comments

I need to know if it is 6 or 10 gallon.
I can not look in the owners manual for the camper, I am the 4th or 5th owner and the manual is long gone.
I tried looking in the heater for the size, but all the info is ether burned from the hot metal, or faded in time. My camper is over 30 years old and the water heater needs to be replaced.

NOTE… scraping it is not an option. It is not a vacation camper, it is my home.
